A Table of Bi-graphs and Their Meanings

Blank Table of Bi-graphs

Situation:

Human rights protests and a crack-down in Moscow.

You want to send this message:

“You are being watched at your location.  Meeting impossible.  Tomorrow you send message by human messenger.”

The same message encoded by the table:

XZ GG FF UL UE XM XZ XE UC

or

XZGGFFULUEXMXZXEUC

(Dietrich, 2014)

It may seem that this method of communication is backwards.  In fact, it has its own advantages, which are significant, and some disadvantages.  In real-world application, it could be a very simple and effective way to pass a secret message.  Due to its compression, these letters could easily be hidden in a message using steganography.  Messages with bi-graphs and tri-graphs are very well suited to being hidden.  Methods of steganography are limitless.  Patriot COMSEC has invented several innovative steganographic methods.  Many are a one-shot product: one customer only.
